Silverdale art studio prepares its October event

September 26, 2013 by

The ‘Art Walk’ in Silverdale is held monthly and, for October, will feature Lisa Stirret’s Glass Art Studio and host an art class for guests to make their own coaster. A great event for people who enjoy viewing local artists’ work and learning a new craft, it seems probable that poster, brochure, and flyer printing could have been used to bring this art tour to the people of this community.

Guests will have the opportunity to view the works of three individual artists and learn how to create their own coaster for use on an everyday basis. Lisa Stirrett’s Glass Art Studio opened in 1987 and is open every day to the public, providing guests with the opportunity to come in and watch how glass creations are formed.

During the tour of the studio, visitors will have the chance to do a little shopping for one-of-a-kind gift items, home décor, lights, sinks, and landscape artworks. Stirrett offers custom art pieces and has been commissioned to do many large commercial projects. Her studio hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, although viewing can be arranged by appointments on Monday.

The Art Walk is free to attend will be held on Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lisa Stirrett Glass Art Studio located at 9536 Northwest Street in Silverdale, Washington. To learn more, visit the Lisa Stirrett Glass Art Studio website or call it at 360-613-5472.
