From Wednesday, August 22 to Sunday, August 26, the Kitsap County Fair and Stampede will be running at the Kitsap Farigrounds located at 1200 NW Fairgrounds Road in Port Orchard, Washington, just a hop down the road from Silverdale. This fair starts at 10:00 am and runs until 6:00 pm, the Stampede starts at 7:00 pm most mornings, and the carnival, which runs from Wednesday until Sunday, begins at 11:00 am each day. This year’s event also features a carnival for children and adults.

During this five-day event, the Xtreme Bulls portion will take place on August 22 only. This year’s Stampede Queen is Crystal Hart, who was named Miss Kitsap Fair and Stampede. She is from Poulsbo, Washington and is 19 years old. The top entertainment at the Fair, meanwhile, is Jerrod Niemann, who recently aired the top 40 song ‘Lover, Lover’. He will be performing on the Thursday, August 23, on the Gelco Concert Stage.

The fair features a number of agricultural and animal events, as well as a carnival and other activities for children and adults. This is a family event, held outdoors, so guests are reminded to dress appropriately in their country attire and bring a hat and sunscreen.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this annual event to the public. Costs for this fair, stampede, and carnival range depending on age and event, so please see the website for more details.
