Weekend bursts into life with Bubble Fest
August 23, 2012 by Mark
A family-friendly three-day event centered on the children, Seattle residents can pop down to Bubble Fest, held at the Pacific Science Center, this weekend. This event runs from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day from August 24 – 26.
At this annual festival, children and their parents will enjoy a number of activities, crafts, and games. Children will be able to enjoy a 20-foot pit of foam, plus there will also be kayaking with the huge dinosaurs that are located in the Pacific Science Center’s large ponds. During this large and exciting learning event, children can visit the educational carts with parents to learn about how bubbles are made, all about animals, and marine life.
Kids will also have the opportunity to build a boomerang, use various bubble wands that make unusual shapes, and take the bubble wand home for more fun after the event. As part of the weekend, there will be a dangerous science show each day that mixes potions and create all types of effects. As an added bonus, there is a bubble-popping event that the whole family will enjoy.
Poster printing and flyer printing may have been the chosen method to promote and advertise this event to the kids and their parents in the area. Costs vary depending on age groups, so, to learn more about this great bubble festival and view a full breakdown of the pricing scheme, please visit the Pacific Science Center website or call the center during normal business hours.
