Stand proud in Seattle

May 30, 2012 by

Over the weekend of June 23 – 24, the Seattle Pride Festival will take place at the Seattle Center located at 321 Mercer Street in downtown Seattle, Washington. The events will run on the Saturday from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Seattle’s Pride Festival organizers are expecting more than 200,000 people to attend this exciting event this June. This is one of Seattle’s largest festivals and it has two full days of activities, as well as the Seattle Pride Parade. The 2012 celebration features several stages with live performances, more than 100 artists, several men’s and women’s parties, areas and events for families and kids, as well as hundreds of vendors. This year, there will also be a Red Women’s party being held in the Baltic room, with Tina T as the DJ. This is being produced by Seattle Out and Round.

People line up for miles to see the Pride Parade, as it is one of the highlights of this festival. The parade will take place on Sunday morning with the day’s event following immediately after. This will be the largest LGBTQ party in the Northwest and guests are reminded to bring sunglasses and sunscreen. Banner printing and stationery printing for this event is probably well underway, so this year’s advertising and promotion can begin.
