Seattle strides forward with kid-focused tour

June 30, 2012 by

Coming up on Friday, July 6, the Seattle Kids’ Tour will take place in downtown Seattle starting at Pike Place Market Information Booth in Seattle, Washington. This event will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Sponsored by Seattle by Foot, all guests must preregister for this tour.

During this family-friendly walking-stroll, children and their parents will visit some of the most kid-friendly locations in the downtown core. The tour was personally designed by the owners who are sponsoring this event. They have young children and wanted an event which would show the children in the city what is open to them.

The tour will be marshaled by guides, all of whom are parents or qualified day-care and development personnel. All stops will have family washroom facilities available, as well as food and snacks for the children and adults who attend. Since the tour runs several times each year, tour stops depend on the availability of the various businesses at the time the tour is being guided.

Children and parents are sure to learn a lot about what Seattle has to offer children during this engaging journey. Guests are reminded that, since this event takes place outdoors irrespective of the weather, it will be necessary to dress appropriately and remember sunscreen.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this guided walking tour to both the parents and children in the community. Tickets cost $25.50 for an adult and child. For more information, please visit the Seattle by Foot website or call 206-508-7017.
