Locals ‘must dash’ to facial hair festival
February 17, 2013 by James
Next weekend’s opening event for the great ‘Beard and Stache Fest’ welcomes back the 5th annual celebration of the City of Seattle’s best festival of facial hair, and the kick-off to this month-long event.
This event is being sponsored by The World is Fun and the organizers are inviting people over the age of 21, with proper identification, to join in the fun and check out the outstanding mustaches and beards in Seattle. Poster printing was most likely used by the organizers to promote the 5th annual Beard and Stache Fest.
This annual event takes place for the entire month, but the grand opening event is the only time people will be able to come out and view all 150 furry faces, on the side of the donations cans, in one location. During the event, guests are reminded to place a vote for the mustache that they like best.
The fundraising event’s proceeds will be used to change the lives of children who live in foster care, so please grab a few friends, a pocket full of change, and come down to help out with a worthy cause. Clean shaven folk are welcome to attend too – all they need is a good sense of humor, a generous spirit, and a desire to have fun.
The Beard and Stache Fest is free to attend and will be happening on Sunday, February 24, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Hilliard’s Beer in Street in Seattle, Washington. For additional information, please visit Hilliard’s Beer’s website or call the company at 206-257-4486.
