Conference shows how to embrace the future in business

This February, the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the University of Washington’s Communication Leadership program, and 206, Inc. are presenting the 3rd annual IN-NW Social Media and Digital Marketing Conference.

The conference is aimed at teaching business leaders how to handle and to embrace the current marketing climate. It will feature illustrations of best practices, interactive workshops and talks by some of the most successful leaders and gurus in digital marketing and social media. Among those scheduled to appear are Amy Balliett from Killer Infographics, Rob Salkowitz of MediaPlant, Geoff Walker of Lively and Sandra Jackson-Dumon from the Seattle Art Museum. This event should definitely give all owners and managers a true understanding of how to promote their business in the 21st century. It will also be an excellent networking opportunity for those who plan to attend and wish to meet peers who have embraced the latest technology.

Sponsorships are available for local businesses who can use this conference to promote their own companies. While the emphasis is on digital marketing, events such as this are often also promoted by more traditional means. This could include flyer printing ordered from Seattle print shops, which can then be distributed throughout the area.

The IN-NW Social Media and Digital Marketing Conference is taking place at Showbox SoDo on February 12 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Tickets are $250 before February 3 and $275 afterwards. To find out more about the event agenda contact Annie Boeckman at 206-389-7271.
