Backpacking week hikes into Seattle

The Cascade Mountain Backpacking Trip will be held at Camp Long located at 5200 35th Avenue SW in Seattle Washington. This runs from Monday, August 6 to Saturday, August 11 and the event starts at 10:00 am.

On the opening Monday, participants will be picked up at Camp Long at 10:30 am for a day spent preparing and packing for the forthcoming week’s activities. From Tuesday through Saturday, guests will be picked up from Camp Long at 9:30 and return around 8:00 pm. This is a teen event and will have portions of the daily tours based on nature, special events, education, workshops, and training classes.

The neighbors that will be covered on this trip include High Point, Beacon Hill, West Seattle Junction and Genesee Hill, Rainier Beach and Othello, and Citywide. The event is being sponsored by the organization O2 Program.

During this tour, participants will enjoy wildflowers, stunning mountain views, lots of exercise, and will pick up the basics required for survival and country life. No experience is necessary but guests must pre-register to participate. Teens will enjoy an amazing five-day backpacking trip to a stunning site in Washington, no doubt learning as they have fun. Spirited teens should find great satisfaction in exploring and learning from experienced guides.
