All play and little work for weekend event attendees

August 18, 2013 by

On its way next weekend, the Big Day of Play at Magnuson Park features entertainment and activities for the entire family, no matter what age they are. Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this fun play day to people in this community’s neighborhoods, and the surrounding regions as well.

During the day, guests will enjoy some spectacular food, lots of fitness activities, live music, and plenty of fun. This event has water features for people to try out paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, and other vessels along the beach. There will be recreational activities, sports, and three-on-three tournaments.

Children will not be forgotten and will enjoy the kids’ zone, featuring a number of activities, games, and projects for the younger crowd. Performances this year include School of Rock and the Recess Monkey. Free bicycle helmets will be given away and there will be a family yoga clinic on site. An obstacle course featuring 60 NFL Play obstacles, a golf and golfzilla kwik event, and a dog’s agility course will be available to participate in or to view. This is an outdoor, ‘rain or shine’ event.

The Big Day of Play is a free event and will be happening on Saturday, August 24, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Magnuson Park located at 7400 Sand Point Way NE. in Seattle, Washington. To learn more about this event, or its schedule, please visit the Big Day of Play website or call Theresa McEwen at 206-615-0691. Volunteers are still needed, and those interested can call Theresa.
