Redmond country-lovers to learn about lavender

November 23, 2012 by

Families are invited to come to the Heart of Woodinville Wine country and enjoy a day in the country learning about how lavender is distilled and what kinds of products are made from the lavender plant each year. The property around the aromatic lavender fields is beautifully landscaped and overlooks the Sammamish Valley and fields of lavender.

A wonderful educational day in the country, guests will be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting while learning about the entire process used to take the growing lavender plants from harvest to products. This venue offers a large selection of lavender-based products, including fresh bouquets, potted plants, aromatherapy products, home d├ęcor, body and bath goods, and culinary products.

During the day, there will be a distilling demonstration, classes, crafts, and activities to keep the family entertained all day long. This event is being hosted outdoors, expect for shopping in the store, so guests are reminded to check the weather before coming and dress appropriately. Attendees are welcome to sign up for the company newsletter and parking is free.

Flyer printing and poster printing were probably used to advertise and promote this educational shopping opportunity to families in this area and the surrounding regions. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

The Lavender Distilling Demonstration will take place tomorrow, November 24, beginning at 12:00 pm at the Woodinville Lavender Farm located at 14223 Woodinville Redmond Road NE in Redmond, Washington. To learn more about this demonstration, or the products, please visit the Woodinville Lavender Farm website or call 425-398-3785.
