Last weekend for Puss in Boots
January 25, 2013 by James
Puss In Boots, a family showcase suitable for grade school children and is part of the ‘Theatre for Young Audiences’ series, has been on offer in Redmond for the last two weeks, but comes to an end this weekend.
The Theatre for Young Audiences has celebrated its 14th season by encouraging families to attend its ‘all ages’ shows. Flyer printing and poster printing may have been the chosen advertising and promotion method used to share this exciting production with members of this community and the local area.
A performance of the SecondStory Repertory, Puss In Boots is a musical production that was written by Charles Perrault, with the music and lyrics being composed by Kevin Miller and Clay Zambo. This is an action-based, fast-paced tale based on comedy and is set in the French countryside, where we meet the first character – Puss. This is no ordinary cat, as he uses deceit and trickery to obtain wealth, power, and the princess’ hand in marriage on behalf of Puss’ master, who is penniless. For families, this production will allow them to share some quality time laughing and having fun.
The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages one to three, and free for children under one. Puss In Boots gives its last performances on Sunday, January 27 at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. There is also a performance tonight at 7:00 pm. Taking place at the SecondStory Repertory located at 16587 NE 74th Street in Redmond, Washington, please visit the SecondStory Repertory website or call the box office at 425-881-6777 for ticket info.
