On Saturday, March 10th, 2012, the Redmond Senior Center will be playing host to this year’s annual Trash or Treasure event taking place at 8703 – 160th Avenue, Northeast in Redmond, Washington. This event will be taking place from 10 am until 2 pm. Guests attending this event are requested to bring in their antiques and treasured collectibles. This event is similar to the “Antiques Road show”, which is watch by millions on cable television.
Professional appraisers will be in attendance to offer fair market evaluations on the collectibles and antiques presented by those who attend. Due to size, this event will not be able to accept large furniture items or dangerous weapons. The organizers suggest that you register for this event in advance, so you won’t be disappointed if the appraisers run out of time to view your items.
So, gather up your collector plates and dolls, unusual or unique items, and military items and head on down to the Redmond Senor Center to meet with the appraisers and find out you’re your items is worth. This promises to be a fun event for all. Please ensure you transport your collectibles and antiques safely by wrapping them carefully in bubble wrap, or wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a box. The Redmond Senior Center accepts no responsibility for breakage.
Printing companies have already prepared the flyers and tickets for this event. Tickets for this event are $5.00/per person. To pre-register call the Redmond Senior Center at 425-556-2314. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
