St. Valentine’s Day offers something for Puyallup seniors

January 31, 2013 by

Aimed towards the senior citizens of Puyallup, the St. Valentine’s Day Party is being sponsored by the Activity Center and is designed to provide seniors with the chance to get out and celebrate this wonderful, romantic day.

This event takes place over the lunch hour to ensure that area seniors are not required to travel at night when it is dark. Flyer printing may have been used to promote this to the area’s senior citizens.

During the St. Valentine’s Day Party, the Activity Center has managed to secure the wonderfully talented band ‘Touch of Class’. Playing music that the seniors grew up listening to, the group offers an upbeat and lively performance that attending seniors could easily dance to. Part of this exciting and fun event includes light refreshments and many smiles and laughs, as well as the opportunity to visit with friends who have not been seen in a while. Guests are asked to wear something red and to bring a smile, as the party promises to be fun for one and all.

Although the St. Valentine’s Day Party is free, guest are requested to bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to the Puyallup Food Bank to help feed those in need. The St. Valentine’s Day Party will be happening on February 14 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Pioneer Park Pavilion located at 330 South Meridian Street in Puyallup, Washington. To learn more, please visit the Puyallup Activity Center website or call 253-841-5555 during business hours.
