Mad start to the week
July 29, 2012 by Sarah
Tomorrow, July 30, the next session of Monday Madness will be held at Rainer Woods Park located at 2610 Cherokee Blvd, in Puyallup, Washington. This event will start at 2:00 pm and end at 4:00 pm.
All children are invited to come out to Rainer Park and participate in the Monday Madness Obstacle Relay Race, which promises to be a great time for all. The relay obstacle race will have teams that will start at the starting line and then make their way around the course, passing a baton from one runner to the other until the course is completed. The first over the finish line with the baton in its grasp is proclaimed the winning team.
As the various teams make their way through the course, kids will get to crawl through, climb over, and race under an assortment of obstacles and hurdles. While participating, children will have the opportunity to meet new people and make new friendships that could last a lifetime. Many of the children who attend this event will be from the local neighborhood, so this promises to be a friendly fun event for all. The day of activities is being presented by the Puyallup Recreation Center and supported by the great City of Puyallup.
Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this fun activity to the parents in Puyallup and the surrounding area. Admission to this event is free and everyone is welcome. For more information, please visit the Puyallup Recreation Center’s website or call 253-841-5457.
