Cupcake Wars to offer crumb of comfort
February 27, 2013 by Mark
Taking place later today, the Cupcake Wars at Puyallup Public Library is a competition for members of the teen group and promises to be lots of fun for all who attend.
The attending teens will have the opportunity to compete for the coveted gift certificates being offered, in three categories, by the local bakery. Poster printing and flyer printing may have been among methods used to catch the attention of the teens in this community and the outlying areas.
This is a great event for teens as they get to use their creative energy to decorate the best cupcakes ever. Teens will compete for gift certificates in three individual categories, as well as having the opportunity to vote for who should win in the three categories. The employees from Wanna Cupcake will be in attendance to talk about careers as a baker, plus to provide a demonstration on what goes into decorating a great cupcake. Since the library is supplying the cupcakes that will be decorated, registration is required. Teens need to sign up at the registration desk in advance or call the library and speak to Bonnie. All the teens have to do is sign up, bring their imagination, and compete against the others to see if they win. It will be a great experience whatever the case.
The Cupcake Wars is free to attend and will be occurring this afternoon, February 27, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Puyallup Public Library. To register or learn more, please visit the Puyallup Public Library website or call Bonnie Svitavsky at 253-841-5454 during normal library hours.
