On Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 Puyallup will be celebrating its annual Art Walk at the Puyallup Activity Center located at 210 West Pioneer Street, Puyallup, Washington. The Puyallup Art Walk will take place from 10am until 3pm.
This year’s Art Walk features the Puyallup Oil Painting Group. This talented group have created a host of unique and interesting artworks to hang in the Puyallup Activity Center for the public to view. This art showcase will feature local seniors who have been painting as part of this group for many years. The talent featured in this showcase will not only draw visitors from across the city, but astound them as well. Many of these talented artists have taken part in the “Seniors Making Art Program”, which is offered through the Dale Chihuly Foundation. Events such as this can make great use of local printing services, such as postcard printing, these can be used to advertise the event and also as invitations extended to family members, friends, and the public. There is something here for everyone.
This Puyallup Senior’s Oil Painting group will feature landscapes, floral, animals, wildlife, portraits, and many other paintings, ranging in prices. The artists have invited the public to come down and talk with them about their hobby and their paintings. This annual Art Walk promises to have something for everyone. See live demonstrations, enjoy refreshments, and much more all in the local community.
This is a free admission showcase that is open to the public. For additional information, please visit the Puyallup Oil Painters website, or call the Puyallup Activity Center at 253-841-5555.
