Take part in some forest follies

May 30, 2012 by

On Saturday, June 23, Nymph-o-Mania will appear at The Capitol Theatre located at 206 Fifth Avenue SE in Olympia, Washington. This performance will begin at 9:00 pm.

This performance is being sponsored by the Olympia Film Society. Guests attending the event will enter an enchanted forest with mythological animalia and creatures including nymphs, faeries, and sprites. Attendees will lose themselves in the seduction and magic of nature during this inventive and mysterious summertime adventure amongst the trees.

The show is being performed by Olympia’s Own TUSH! burlesque and Seattle’s Stripped Screw Burlesque. This is a unique group of creative women who rebel against normal standards of femininity and beauty and represent a “normal” array of various body types, cultures, and ages. This performance is not suitable for children, with themes becoming rather adult-oriented at times, and viewers should be 18 or over.

Created by a unique group of performers who love to push the boundaries of realism and fantasy, this piece is sure to inspire the audience. There is also a beer garden available in the mezzanine.
For the creative mind, this performance will inspire the imagination, tickle the audience’s funny bone, and enable those watching to slip away to a place which is not real. Program and brochure printing for this event were probably used as the promotional method of choice.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available from Brown Paper Tickets. For more information about this show, please visit The Capitol Theatre’s website or call to reserve tickets at 360-754-5378.
