Seattle sweetens Sunday with musical event

People into hot jazz numbers who want to discover the sassy and demure sides of the gentle feminine persuasion can look forward to a theatrical performance set to deliver it all.

Tomorrow’s musical event ‘A Sweet and Saucy Soiree’ stars Karen Gruber Ryan – a great artisan who last appeared in The Glass Menagerie performed on the Schmee Stage and is a former member of Bald Faced Lie – a comedic sketch group. She is now returning to the Schmee Stage to sing numbers made famous by some of the world’s most brazen women and melodic songstresses from the jazz period.

This performance will unveil some truly modern numbers to create a really outstanding cocktail of old and new. The soiree is accompanied by a hip band, featuring Aimee Zoe Tubbs, Larry Ryan, and Branden Romans and there may even be a special guest appearance or two to top off the evening. This soiree of entertainment is suitable for teenagers and adults. The performance is sure to raise a few eyebrows and have people dancing in their seats.

Poster printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing may have been use to promote this unique performance to residents in the community and surrounding areas. Tickets range between $10 and $15 and should be purchased in advance.

Music lovers need to be quick, as it is being held on tomorrow, September 30, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Theater Schmeater located at 1500 Summit Avenue, in Seattle, Washington, so not far from from Olympia.
