Everlasting Melodies concert

On Saturday, March 24th, 2012 the Everlasting Melodies Concert will be held at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, which is located at 512 Washington St., Southeast, Olympia, Washington. This concert will begin promptly at 7 pm, so don’t be late.
This year’s concert features four individual choirs with voices ranging between the ages of five and seventeen. These choirs will be vocalizing various musical styles of timeless music from a classical contemporary period in music history.
The students participating in this event have spent many hours preparing and practicing to delight their audience. To date more than nine hundred signing have participated in this festive event, which has taken place over the past seventeen years. These wonderful students will have you tapping your feet in your seat and clapping loudly at the end of each performance. They are so good, they will make you wish the night could go on forever.
This performance features a piece of MacBeth called “The Witches’ Chorus, a piece by Delibes called “The Lakme Flower Duet”, a selection from the Beatles named “Hey Jude”, and finally, last by not least, a piece by Etta James, called “At Last”. These delight renditions of wonder melodic tunes will resonate in your mind even after you have left the event, so don’t forget to get your tickets soon, as they are going fast, and remember if after buying your tickets you cannot make it to the event, the venue has a swap or donate program you may wish to participate in.
