The “Competitiveness in Manufacturing: Renewed Manufacturing in the 21st Century” conference is taking place in Longview this February. It is presented by Impact Washington, a small business consulting firm.
The conference is aimed at company owners, CEOs, and others in upper management. The keynote address is expected to be “The good news in manufacturing.” In various breakout sessions, attendees will learn about employee best practices and new technologies. Other topics of conversation will be “The path to export” and “The power of Innovation.” It is also likely that refreshments will be served during the morning. All in all, guests are expected to leave the event with a renewed confidence in the future of manufacturing and in their industry’s prospects for continued success.
This should also be an excellent networking opportunity for industry representatives and may result in future collaborations; there should be time between sessions to discuss business. To ensure that they can keep in touch with those they meet, many who plan to attend the Longview conference will probably be checking to see if a new business card printing order is needed. They will want to make sure that their contacts information is up to date and correct and that they have plenty of cards to exchange on the day.
“Competitive in Manufacturing” is being held at the Cowlitz Conference Center on February 6 from 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Tickets are $15 each. To learn more about the conference, contact Impact Washington at 425-438-1146.
