Chamber highlights its non-profit organizations

Non-Profit Night is a presentation of the Kelso Longview Chamber of Commerce, and is taking place next month in Longview.

The event will allow local non-profit companies and organizations to showcase their available services, advertise their new charity events, and help them find new volunteers to ensure the smooth running of their operations. It will let the public know just what type of programs and services are available to them as citizens, and how they can help. Students who must have a certain number of volunteer hours before they graduate will also no doubt be very interested.

It is also an excellent networking opportunity for those who operate those non-profits; there will be a chance to exchange digital business cards and to possibly develop some new collaboration between organizations.

Those non-profit organizations can rent a table for $25 for Chamber members and $40 for non-members. It is likely that most of them will be providing printed material that people can take home with them. Often obtained from Longview printing companies, this can include brochures, printed display folders, maps, and flyers to advertise upcoming events. Stationery printers, meanwhile, will often help bring out the likes of pens and pencils.

The Non-Profit Night will take place at Mark Morris High School in Longview on January 17 from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door, although those aged 18 and under only pay $5. For more information about this event, call the Kelso Longview Chamber of Commerce at 360-423-8400.
