School to slam-dunk with Santa

December 10, 2012 by

The Santa Slam Basketball Camp is being run by the Tahoma Senior High School and will allow basketball teams to join in and enjoy the annual Santa Slam Camp. The camp enables teams to work on basketball skills, run drills, and play some great games of basketball, before enjoying a visit with Santa Claus.

This program is an annual event instructed by players and coaches from various girls’ and boys’ Varsity basketball teams. Standard registration of this event opened on November 2 and the last day to register for this event is December 19. Registration is a requirement but openings are disappearing fast, so it would be wise for those interested not to let the shot clock run down too much longer.

The Santa Slam event is designed for children between Kindergarten and Grade Seven. It will be a great way for the children to build their basketball skills, learn new techniques, and build their confidence. Children visiting with Santa are invited to bring their wish list and enjoy a great a day of fun and physical activity.

The Tahoma Senior High School probably used poster printing to promote this fun day to residents in the area. The cost is $30 per person. The Santa Slam Basketball Camp will be taking place on Thursday, December 20, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Tahoma Senior High School located at 18200 SE 240th Street in Kent, Washington. To pre-register, please visit the Santa Slam Basketball Camp website or call the school.
