Kent to get involved in the Christmas Rush

November 18, 2012 by

The Christmas Rush Fun Run is being presented by MultiCare and is celebrating the 30th year of running in the Kent area. This year, the race will start and finish at the same location and the course, although similar to the old course, is better than ever. This fun run is an excellent family event and people of all ages are invited to attend.

The 10K and 5K runs are chip timed and certified, and the 10K run will do the giant loop between 212th Street and Meeker Street, as it has in past years. The 5K loop has been modified and will be an out and back race. The races will combine at the 25-yard mark of the race and some great times should be made in the front half of the race

Photos will be available at the end of the race, as well as free finisher T-shirts for children under 13, courtesy of MultiCare. The T-shirt sizes are XS and Small. Photos will be taken by Finish Shots.

Poster printing, flyer printing, and other printing services may have been used to advertise and promote this annual run to members of this community and the surrounding regions. The cost is $25, or $10 if the shirt is not required. The 10K run starts at 9:50 am and the 5K run/walk begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 8th at the Russell Road Park located at 24400 Russell Road in Kent, Washington.
