A cracking time to be had at egg hunt

March 22, 2013 by

The North Meridian Park Easter Egg Hunt takes place in the North Park neighborhood and is the 4th annual event of this type.

The hunt will take place for the children at Tot Lot # 2 and is open to all kids between the ages of one to twelve. This is a great time to see how sneaky the Easter Bunny has been this year, and poster printing has probably been used to advertise this annual event to people in this neighborhood.

This is a neighborhood event where a collection takes place via donations, and plastic eggs are purchased and filled with candy before being hidden around the park. The younger children get a headstart to provide them with adequate time to locate some eggs before the older children begin the hunt. Each of the eggs found is filled with sweets and treats for the children to enjoy.

This year, the goal is to hide 1,000 Easter Eggs for the children to find. Currently, the neighborhood group that organizes this function is still taking donations, so anyone interested in contributing should contact the organizers. Parents are reminded to bring their cameras and take some great shots of their children having fun.

Admission to this event is free and all neighborhood families are invited to participate. The North Meridian Park Easter Egg Hunt will be occurring on Saturday, March 23, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at North Meridian Park located at 22828 120th Avenue SE in Kent, Washington.
