Wine and walking to enjoy in Issaquah
February 27, 2013 by James
The Historic Shell Station Downtown Wine Walk is part of the First Friday series in Issaquah for 2013. Guests will enjoy live music, snacks, wine tasting at various locations, and some exciting art happenings along Front Street. Poster printing was most likely used to promote the Historic Shell Station wine walk to people in this area and surrounding districts.
This event occurs the first Friday of each month and features many events and activities for the entire family. Wine tasters are requested to bring their own glass and check out wines from various local dealers in the area. Along the street, there are a number of artistic and cultural venues, stores, and boutiques open for people to check out, as well as snacks available and a number of art happenings and displays for viewing.
During the walk, guests can enjoy some wonderful music and purchase their favorite bottles of wine to take home. There is a drop-in care center set up for children between the ages of 3 and 10, open from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Registration is required for this, and part of the proceeds will benefit the Downtown Issaquah Association.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the event, which includes 10 single ounce wine tokens. Check in begins at 5:00 pm. The Historic Shell Station Downtown Wine Walk will be happening this Friday, March 1, starting at the Hailstone Feed Store, the Historic Shell Station, located at 232 Front Street in Issaquah, Washington. To reserve tickets, please visit the Downtown Issaquah website or call the office during business hours.
