Tacoma City Ballet celebrates with a masquerade ball

January 30, 2014 by

The Mid Winter Masquerade Ball Soiree, presented by the Tacoma City Ballet, will take place this February.

This event helps to introduce the public to the performers of the ballet company in a fun and relaxing way. Guests will enjoy free champagne and a bar where they can purchase a variety of drinks. There will also be live musical and dance performances to entertain attendees. Suggested attire is formal or semi-formal and masquerade masks are optional; guests must be 21 years of age or over to attend this event.

The ballet company holds several special events such as this each year as well as community outreach programs like Ballet Bees – Mommy and me which are creative movement and music appreciation workshops. For this Mother’s Day they will be hosting the Storybook Ballet Theatre Tea Party.

All of these events are expected to foster a love of ballet in people of all ages. They are probably well advertised in Tacoma and surrounding areas such as Issaquah. When companies need to market their business they often invest in services such as flyer printing from local print companies. The flyers can then be distributed in various ways such as through direct mail or as newspaper inserts.

The Mid Winter Masquerade Ball Soiree is taking place at the Merlino Art Center’s Jan Cullum Ballroom Theater on February 22 starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $10 each. To learn more about this or other upcoming events at the Tacoma City Ballet, call 253-272-4219.
