Santa to drop by at upcoming gift event

November 15, 2012 by

The Holiday Open House and Gift Fare is an annual event in its 9th year. A popular occasion, it offers a number of craft times and activities for the whole family, plus offers homemade cookies, cocoa, and coffee in a friendly and festive atmosphere. There will even be a surprise visit from Old St. Nick himself.

Leading nicely into the holiday season, it offers something for everyone and is surrounded with toe-tapping live music and plenty of activities to keep all ages amused. Local crafters will offer an assortment of handmade items that make the perfect Christmas gift or stocking stuffer.

Santa will be dropping by, courtesy of The Issaquah History Museum, and will sit and chat with the children while mom and dad take some great snaps of their kids on Santa’s lap. Parents are reminded to bring their cameras and capture a memorable experience. Surrounding Santa will be children’s craft tables, where little ones can create their own holiday ornaments while learning about antique ornaments. While the children craft and chat, parents can spend time relaxing and seeking out the perfect gifts for people on their list.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to advertise, as well as promote, this excellent holiday event to members of this community and the surrounding area. Admission is free and everyone is invited. The Holiday Open House and Gift Fare will be happening on Saturday, December 1, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Issaquah Historic Train Depot located at 150 1st Avenue in Issaquah, Washington.
