Rev up for car show in Issaquah

May 30, 2012 by

A Father’s Day car show will be held at the Triple XXX Drive-In in downtown Issaquah on Sunday, June 17. This event will begin at 8:00 am and run through until 3:00 pm.

Those wishing to participate in this event with their car can preregister online, thereby giving themselves the opportunity to win a $200 Griot’s Garage Gift Certificate. On-site registration for this event will start at 6:00 am at the Old Shell Station on the day of the show. Vehicles for this event will be parked everywhere from Sunset to the Triple XXX parking lot on Front Street. There will be an annual pancake breakfast available through the Eagles again this year and the Triple XXX will be serving free coffee and donuts.
Judging for this car show will begin at 11:00 am, with a trophy presentation to follow at 2:00 pm by the Feedstore. Following the presentation, the car parade (or car cruise) will begin at 3:00pm, taking place along Sunset Way and eventually ending back at the Triple XXX.

The Kaleidoscope School of Music will provide the rocking soundtrack all day long and there will be other events staged, such as Cats in the Bookstore, Electric Foot, Between the Lines, Batteries Not Included, and a Vintage Vehicle TV Show. Stationery printing and flyer printing have probably been used to advertise this event and provide registration forms.

The event is free and all are welcome to attend. For additional information about this car show and cruise, please visit Fenders on Front Street’s website.
