Hometown Hootenanny comes to Everett

Saturday, March 10th, 2012 the Annual Hometown Hootenanny, a bluegrass showcase takes place in Everett, Washington. This great event starts at 7:30 pm and runs until 10:30 p.m. This event will take place at the Historic Everett Theatre located at 2911 Colby Avenue in Everett and is brought to you by Red Curtain Productions, a production company that features many talented performers.
This showcase features the creative music by Runaway Train and the Canote Brothers. Runaway Train brings to the stage old time acoustic music that is upbeat and filled with super-energy. Good old toe-tapping, foot-stomping, kick up your heels music. You will not be able to sit in your seats without bouncing to the rhythm. The Canote Brothers bring their special version of ragtime music similar to the Beehive Juggernauts. This ragtime group has been entertaining families for years and always delights.
This show promises to bring with it lots of hand-clapping and singing along, so if you enjoy a good evening of fun bluegrass music, you will not want to miss this event.
The printing companies have the tickets done and they are on sale now, so don’t miss this fabulous show. Tickets can be purchased, in advance, through brown paper tickets. Tickets purchased through the box office cost an additional $1.50 each, which goes towards the Historic Preservation Fund.
