Everett’s Holiday Art Show opens this weekend

November 13, 2012 by

The Holiday Art Show will feature Washington’s Women Painters, plus the pottery and glass by the area artisans. This showcase of women painters has attracted recognized artists, and international and national attention, for more than 80 years now and today is the cornerstone of the Northwest art scene.

To see some superb art created by the women of Washington, this is the exhibition to view. The opening reception for this event is being held on Saturday, November 17 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will provide those who attend the opportunity to meet the individual artist and learn a little bit about what is behind the artwork this group creates. Light refreshments will be available.

The Shack Art Center has been a major force in the art scene in this area for more than 36 years and has enriched the community through its visual art center, community art educational programs, annual special events, and free exhibitions. The new focus of this center is to involve the public in the creation process and today has many features such as a kiln, glass blowing, classrooms, and media art exhibition spaces.

Flyer printing, brochure printing, and other such services are a cost effective way to advertise and promote exhibitions like this to nearby residents and communities. For this event, admission is free and all ages are welcome. The Holiday Art Show will be happening from Saturday, November 17 until Thursday, December 27 starting at 10:00 am at the Schack Art Center situated at 2921 Hoyt Avenue in Everett, Washington. To learn more about this exhibit or view a few of the paintings, please call the center at 425-259-5050 or visit the Schack Art Center website.
