Everett museum will celebrate New Year’s Eve all day
December 29, 2013 by Sarah
The Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett is holding two New Year’s Eve celebrations for children of all ages.
A daytime party will take place in the museum in the early afternoon. It is set to feature Gansango Music and Dance and origami artist Duy Nguyen. The event will recognize and celebrate New Years around the world, and is included in the price of admission.
Later on that evening, the New Year’s Eve Nighttime Party will feature even more family-friendly activities. Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth will perform, as will Magician Master Payne and Zero and Somebuddy. Other activities include a scavenger hunt, fishing games, and food for purchase such as pizza, hot dogs, chips, drinks, and cookies. At 9:00 pm, everyone is sure to want to witness the grand finale ball drop outside the museum.
Either of these events should attract a lot of visitors from Everett and the surrounding area. Organizers may call on local printing companies to provide some materials to them, such as banners and posters to help decorate the facility. A colorful banner hung over the entrance to a party can help to increase the anticipation of guests.
The Daytime party will take place at the Imagine Children’s Museum on December 31 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Admission to the museum is $9.50 per person. The Nighttime Party will be held from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Tickets are $10 for museum members and $15 for non-members, although guests must register in advance.
