Everett expo gets a little weird

November 2, 2016 by

Residents in Everett are getting ready to enter a dimension of not only space and time, but also of mind.

OddMall: Holiday Emporium of the Weird is a two-day event that offers up an array of arts, crafts, and fashion that range from the slightly eccentric to the truly bizarre.

Over 160 different vendors are currently signed up for the show, including Paper Butterfly Forge, Scaling Down the Past, Haute Under the Collar, and Geek Galleries HQ. Each group will have a booth available at the expo where they can showcase their original works or just give out more information about what they do. Extra booths are still available, and interested crafters can register by filling out the business forms available on the website.

In addition to the emporium, a lot of entertainment will also be available for visitors. For those who want nontraditional holiday cards this year, photo ops are available with the Krampus. A Fairy Hollow will also be set up for children with face painting, games, treasure hunts, balloon twisting, and more. In addition, the Dames for Dreams Fashion Show will take place during the second day of the event, offering a showcase for unique and exotic styles from a number of different designers.

OddMall: Holiday Emporium of the Weird will be held on November 19 and 20 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Holiday Inn, located at 2206 Tower St. Admission is free. Anyone interested in more info should visit the website.
