Conference aims to educate suppliers on the aerospace industry

January 30, 2014 by

The 13th annual PNAA Aerospace Conference and Supplies Fair is taking place in Lynnwood over three days this February. It is presented by the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance and the Snohomish County Economic Alliance.

The conference is aimed at those who wish to become suppliers to the industry and to learn what it involves. The keynote speaker will be Governor Jay Inslee. There are expected to be over 34 speakers from many major original equipment manufacturers (OEM) such as Boeing, Rolls Royce and Bombardier. They will discuss about every aspect of the aerospace industry and educate attendees on the current worldwide state of it.

The supplier’s fair, which takes place on the last day of the conference, will give each business the chance to have a 15 minute one on one session with several OEMs. This should give them a good idea about what is required to work with these companies.

This conference will be of great interest to many companies in the area, including those from nearby Everett, who wish to become suppliers to the aerospace industry. It is probable that local print companies provided marketing materials to help spread the word about the conference.

The PNAA Aerospace Conference and Supplies Fair is taking place at the Lynnwood Convention Center from February 4 to 6. Conference fees are $945 for PNAA members and $1,345 for non-members; companies can share the tickets. For more information about this event, contact Alison Tapert at 425-885-0290.
