Starting this Friday, July 6 and continuing until July 21, the Bellingham Festival of Music will take place at WWU PAC Concert Hall located at 516 High Street in Bellingham, Washington. This festival begins at 7:30pm.

Exceptional players from various major North American orchestras and incredibly gifted musicians from national, regional, and local ensembles will gather together at the Bellingham Festival of Music under the tutelage of Artistic Director, Michael Palmer, of the Festival Orchestra.

During the evening events, the assembled orchestra will perform five independent concerts, with one of the most notable being held on July 9 and featuring world-renowned violinist Joshua Bell. It will be held at Mount Baker Theatre and promises to thrill the audience.

The remaining concerts will be held at the WWU Performing Arts Center and will feature Pablo Sainz Villegas, Jeremy Denk, and Lynn Harrel. The guitar recital, featuring Pablo Sainz Villagas and the Chamber by the Bay concert, will be held at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. There will also be two free concerts at the Whatcom Museum. The full schedule of concert events, artisan biographies, and ticket information can be obtained from the Bellingham Festival website.

There will be a concert lecture held at 6:30 pm before each orchestra performs in Parking Lot 14G at the WWU.
