Bellingham ready to rock

Rock of Ages has been nominated for a Tony Award five times and is a lively and upbeat musical Broadway show that has now been turned into a blockbuster of a movie, set to be shown tomorrow.

This musical is an ideal family outing and includes a number of classic rock hits from the 1980s. Poster printing may have been used to promote this great musical to families in the area.

This Broadway hit is set in 1987 and is about a small town girl who meets a large city rocker on the Sunset Strip in one of Los Angele’s famous rock clubs. The pair falls in love listening to the 1980s rock hits. Rock of Ages musical performances are from the likes of REO Speedwagon, Whitesnake, Poison, Asia, Twisted Sister, Stynx, Pat Benatar, and many other favorites from that era. Today, children are listening to remakes of this same great music, with tracks like Jounrey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’ as popular as ever, so the whole family can enjoy a great outing featuring some of the most beloved music of its time.

The cost to attend this performance ranges between $20 and $69 per person depending on the seating selection chosen. Rock of Ages will be appearing on tomorrow, January 16, starting at 7:30 pm at the Mount Baker Theatre located at 104 N. Commercial Street in Bellingham, Washington.
