Bellevue medical center raise money with Bandage Ball

Hosted by the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, the 2013 Bandage Ball is scheduled to take place next month.

The event has taken place over a number of years to raise money so that Overlake Medical Center, a nonprofit medical center, can continue to offer the best treatment. The 2013 Bandage Ball will raise funds to help build the David and Shelley Hovind Heart & Vascular Center.

According to a press release issued by the hospital, the proposed center will house cardiac and vascular services in one central point. The planned center will improve communication between a consultant and their patients and family. It will also make it easier for people of the Eastside to gain access to treatment and care. The center will also be equipped with the latest technology and equipment. The ball is one of the main events to be held Eastside, bringing people together who want to support the facility. At the 2013 dinner and dance, there will also be an auction. The theme is to be ‘And the Beat Goes On’, with prizes including certificates to the finest restaurants in Eastside, wine, entertainment, and sports items, in addition to a cocktail party on a 64-foot yacht.

Millions of dollars have been raised at the Bandage Ball events held over the years, with the 2012 ball raising over $800,000. Although tickets to the event are sure to be popular, the 2013 Bandage Ball, set for March 16, may also be promoted using local stationery printers for flyers and posters.
