Orem locals can treasure the weekend
September 26, 2012 by James
Everyone has dreamt at some point of uncovering hidden treasure and an event being sponsored by Savvy Textbooks and promises not only to be fun, but exhilarating.
This year, the organizers have hidden $5,000 somewhere in the community of Provo/Orem and all participants have to do to get it, is find it, and it can be there. Clues on the treasure’s location are being sent out daily using the Provo Treasure Hunt website, Facebook, Twitter, and eMail, but they will also arrive on Android Apps and iPhones.
During this hunt, additional prizes from sponsors will be available, including sets of all passes for Seven Peaks, cases of Coca-Cola, $50 certificates to Pizza Pie Café, and certificates for City Deals. This is shaping up to be a great, unique event for families, groups, and couples. The organizers say the clues will not be easy, but it will be worth it, as it is a great bonding event.
Digital poster printing and flyer printing were most likely used to advertise and promote this unique treasure hunting experience to residents of the community and the surrounding region. Admission to this event is free and everyone is welcome.
The hunt starts this Friday, September 28, after the Hawaii vs. BYU game at Provo Treasure Hunt Headquarters located at the Corner of Center Street and University Avenue in Provo, Utah, just a jog down the road from Orem. To pick up additional information on this event, please visit the Great Provo/Orem Treasure Hunt website, or its Twitter or Facebook page.
