Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area Provides Options this December
December 10, 2011 by Mark
Although the holidays are fast approaching, there’s plenty for people to do in Cottonwood Heights this December.
Beginning with a Grand Re-Opening, the Parks and Recreation Service Area is inviting people to:
“…Come join us Dec. 14, 2011, as we celebrate the re-opening of our newly renovated indoor aquatics areas, racquetball courts, aerobics room, and cycling room. Take a free tour 8am-8pm, ceremony 4:30-5:30pm, and free open plunge swimming afterwards until 9pm. Check out our beautiful revamped facilities, thanks to the residents of Cottonwood Heights.”
Whether taking a quick dip in the pool or hoping to catch a glimpse of the latest changes, these renovations are a definite improvement.
In large part due to the curiosity, local print companies have likely done a lot leading up to this ceremony. The good news is that between the flyer printing, posters, and work produced by brochure printers, Cottonwood Heights residents will get to know the new facility very quickly.
On the 23rd, those who love being outdoors will be able to combine activity with Christmas Spirit by attending “skate with Santa”. Organizers assure everyone that there will be “treats, fun music, and lots of holiday cheer” at this afternoon event.
Also taking place December 23rd, the Cottonwood Heights Recreational Center will be giving people a chance to support a worthy cause in the Utah Food Bank on the 23rd. There will be designated places where people are encouraged to place their non-perishable goods.
As most can see, individuals in Cottonwood Heights will have every opportunity to plug into the community this December.
