The Cottonwood Heights Thanksgiving 5K Run/Walk invites everyone to a great family event and fundraiser. This year’s run/walk begins at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center (CHRC) and will let people exercise for a good cause and not feel guilty when they dig into their Thanksgiving dinner. Those who beat the Mayor, Kelvyn Cullimore Jr., in reaching the end of the race can earn themselves a ribbon to commemorate this.

The run has various age divisions and awards for first place through fifth place in each category. There will also be awards for the overall winners for men and women, as well as a trophy for the Cottonwood Heights resident who has the fastest time for completion of the course. Every participant will be given a ‘Tech’ running shirt, complete with long sleeves. This race is limited to 2,000 participants and all of them must register before October 21 to ensure a T-shirt and packet pickup. This race will get you hungry for Thanksgiving dinner.

Poster printing may have been used to advertise and promote this 5K run/walk to the community and surrounding areas. Registration costs $25 per adult and $20 for kids aged 11 and under. After November 17, the cost is raised to $30 per adult and $25 for kids aged 11 and under.

The Cottonwood Heights Thanksgiving 5K Run/Walk will take place on Thursday, November 22, beginning at 9:00 am at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center located at 7500 South 2700 East in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. For more details, please visit the Run Cottonwood Heights website or call 801-943-3190 during normal business hours.
