Hotel marks its landmark year with tea offerings
June 30, 2013 by Mark
Hotel Du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware has recently started celebrating its 100th year by putting on a daily ‘Centennial Afternoon Tea’ session, which will continue until at least the end of 2013.
This event is open to the whole family and offers families a pleasant dining experience, handicap accessibility, and child assistance, as needed. Print companies have probably been contacted to carry out menu and business card printing to commemorate the landmark year of the hotel.
A new centennial blend of tea, specially designed, is offered to people who are dining at this location as part of their meal experience. This tea is created by infusing a burst of pineapple and has been concocted to celebrate the 100 years of service with which this business has provided the public.
Diners in the afternoon will enjoy a delicious meal with all their favorites and have the opportunity to check out other tea that is available from the DuPont Estates and the Delaware Art Museum, located in the Brandywine Valley. Reservations are required and should be made in advance. Throughout the year, the Green Room will introduce people to other themed tea experiences, some of which are listed online.
The cost to attend this event is $28 per person, and it can be reserved daily from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Green Room in the Hotel Du Pont located at 11th Street and Market Street. To learn more about the special events hosted there, or to make a reservation, visit the hotel’s website or call 302-594-3154.
