Tigard goes to the dogs this Halloween

October 24, 2013 by

This weekend, the Halloween Canine Costume Contest is inviting pet owners and their dogs to come out and enjoy a fun filled event to celebrate Halloween in four-legged fashion. An annual event aimed at all the family, not least the four-legged members, it is just the sort of occasion for which flyer and poster printing services are often sought to keep locals informed of proceedings.

This Canine Costume Contest is an annual event sponsored and organized by the Tigard Dog Park Committee, and offers families and their pets the chance to come out and enjoy a number of exciting events and activities. There is a panel of celebrity judges available to judge for the best dressed canine Halloween costume, for which a range of prizes are available.

All guests are eligible for the super raffle prizes that are to be awarded, plus there will be a parade of pets as the canines pass the judges’ location. People are reminded that this event takes place outdoors and to dress appropriately, and to remember to bring their cameras to capture the fun.

Admission to the event is free for dog owners and, of course, the dogs themselves. The Halloween Canine Contest will be held on Saturday, October 26th starting at 10:30 am at the Potso Dog Park located on Wall Street, near Hunziker Street, in Tigard, Oregon. To find out more, please visit the event’s website or call the City of Tigard during business hours.
