A Talented harvest show ahead
September 26, 2013 by Mark
Oregon will celebrate its Annual Harvest Festival next month, providing families with a full day of entertainment in the downtown area. This is the 40th year in which the City of Talent group has participated in the festival, and banner printing is likely to have been among the methods chosen by the organizers to promote this annual event to people in this city and the surrounding areas.
Families are invited to come out and enjoy artists, vendors, a run/walk, children’s activities, music, and food. During this event, the annual Chamber of Commerce Pancake breakfast kicks of the event and is followed by the 5K and 10K walk or run. The ‘Grand Parade’ starts at 10:00 am and the live entertainment begins on the City Hall Stage at 10:45 am and continues until around 6:00 pm featuring music and live performances. Vendors at this festival include growers, as well as those specializing in arts, crafts, historical items, wine tasting, and foods. There are many children’s games, crafts, and activities planning, and an apple-pressing booth will feature too.
The City of Talent’s Annual Harvest Festival is free to attend on Saturday, October 5, starting with the breakfast and run/walk registration at 7:00 am on Main Street in the downtown core of Talent, Oregon, just down the road from Tigard. To find out more about the festival or schedule of events, please visit the City of Talent website or contact Melissa Huhtala at 541-535-1566 during business hours.
