The Rose Festival CityFair is taking place in Portland over three weekends beginning on Memorial Day weekend.

The festival will kick-off with an evening concert and dance party in the RoZone which will be followed by a fireworks display on the waterfront. The next weekend is set to feature the Starlight Parade and the final weekend will be Fleet Week which will feature displays of US Navy and Coast Guard ships on display as well as the Grand Floral Parade.

Throughout the festival, there will be a carnival with rides and games, exotic animal displays and music on the Rose City and Bridgetown stages. Some of the musical acts that will be performing include Sir Mix-a-Lot, the Kink Show and What was Sound. There will also be a Kids’ Zone that will have arts and crafts activities and a reading corner.

There will also be a food fair and booths by community organizations as well as Rose Festival Museum exhibits.

Portland poster printing firms often provide advertising materials to promote events such as this in the community.

The Rose Festival CityFair will be held at Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park from May 26 to 29, June 2 to 4 and 9 to 11. A season’s pass for all three weekends costs $10; admission is free to children aged 6 and under and veterans. Visit the website to learn more.
