Child-focused gala to present itself in Oregon City
September 19, 2013 by Sarah
The Children’s Center Healing Garden Gala is a premier fundraising event happening later on today in Clackamas County. This is a unique outdoor event and a chance to understand the work undertaken by the Center.
The evening will present an opportunity to attend and learn how the Children’s Center works to heal young people, while at the same time enjoy the magic of the starlit outdoor gardens. Guests will enjoy tantalizing and tasty appetizers, a selection of wine and beer, and some mouthwatering desserts while seeing first-hand, using a child’s perspective, the positive accomplishments and hope provided to the children in the community.
This event is sponsored by Airstream Adventures Northwest, and will provide a memorable evening to the guests who attend. The Children’s Center provides evaluations for children who are suspected victims of neglect and abuse, as well as providing support services for the children’s families. It works to provide public education and awareness about children in this position, while working towards prevented such cases from arising in the first place.
The cost to attend this even is $100 per person or $1,000 per table, and it will be happening this evening, September 19, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Children’s Center located at 1713 Penn Lane in Oregon City, Oregon. To learn more about this event, or to purchase tickets, please visit the Children’s Center Healing Garden Gala website or call Tracy Cramer, Development and Communications Coordinator, at 503-655-7725.
