Zombies on the rampage in Medford show
October 23, 2012 by James
‘The Nightmare Chamber’ gets underway tomorrow and is an energy-harnessing experiment that goes fatally wrong and creates a nightmarish experience for the audience. As all the horrors unfold, the audience is sure to be left and be left shivering in its seats.
The performance is presented in two versions – the ‘children’s version’ only runs on October 26 and 27 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and costs $3 per child. The adult version starts out with an experiment aimed at harnessing energy that goes astray and causes a power failure to occur, threatening to create an explosion large enough to shake the entire Medford community.
The ‘insane’ doctor in this performance believes his experiment will cure people who suffer horrific nightmares, so he converts an ancient warehouse to harness the dark energy he gathers from people’s nightmare but, after the experiment fails, all that is left are the man-eating ‘zombies’ that escape the from his chamber and create havoc in the audience. It is set to be a beastly way to welcome in the spooky season.
Poster printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing may have been used to promote both the adult version and the kids’ version of this performance to the residents of this community and neighboring communities. Tickets for the grown-up show are $8 per adult and $6 per child under 48” tall.
‘The Nightmare Chamber’ runs from tomorrow, October 24, until next Wednesday, October 31, starting at 7:00 pm at the Randall Theatre Company located at 10 E Third Street in Medford, Oregon.
