Bend to host WinterFest 2014

February 10, 2014 by

OnPoint Community Credit Union invites everyone in Bend to Oregon Winterfest 2014, presented by American Family Insurance.

Events will include a re-designed rail jam, ice carvings, and snow sculptures, and of course the Snow Warriors Race. There will also be food and live music by Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Menomena. New this year will be cider offered at all the bars. The festival will present interactive art, a motorcycle jump show, and the Bend Polar Plunge.

One lucky entrant of The Snow Warrior Race will receive a pair of Mr. Bachelor lift tickets. This wintery, challenging obstacle course will have contestants slogging through ice-cold muddy water, climbing over walls, squiggling through barricades, crawling over nets suspended in mud-pits, and swinging on monkey bars that span burning fire pits.

For a fee of $25, vendors can have their coupons, products, or flyers placed in VIP gift bags. Another $25 fee allows vendor to have similar items placed in Snow Warrior Athlete Gift Bags. In either case, vendor must have their own flyer printing done (perhaps via local printing companies) to have fliers included in the bags.

WinterFest 2014 will be held Friday, February 14, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the The Old Mill District, 344 SW Shevlin Hixon Drive.
