Nugget Country Crossroads

From Friday, May 25th until Sunday, May 27th, John Ascuaga’s Nuggest will be hosting the Nugget’s Annual Country Crossroads Music Festival. The John Ascuaga Nugget is located at 1100 Nugget Avenue in Sparks, Nevada. This event runs from 4pm to 2 am on Friday, 4pm to 3am on Saturday, and from 4pm to 3am on Sunday.

This musical festival will bring together a combination of special events. The majority of the events are free; although there is a few that have an attendance fee. This three day music festival features many top performing groups from throughout the United States. This event kicks of Friday evening with performer David Nail. Saturday features a Cowboy Crawl throughout downtown Sparks starting at the Nugget at 5pm and ends with a country dance party at the Cabaret and goes until the early morning hours. This evening will also feature Uncle Cracker, an amazing entertainer in the Nugget Showroom at 9pm. Sunday will feature Kris Kristofferson and Merle Haggard, as well as many other performers. The only events that have a charge are David Nail $39, registration for the Cowboy Crawl $5 in advance or $10 on day of event – both Saturday and Sunday, Uncle Kracker $45, and Kristofferson/Haggard $59/$68.

There are a number of free events scheduled about the admission events, so please check out the Country Crossroads’ website. Alternatively, event orgainzers may have hired the services of a local print shop for poster or flyer printing, so these may be around town. A weekend pass is also available for $129 and features three concerts.
