Zombie Crawl creeping into Reno

The annual Zombie Crawl will be coming to downtown Reno this weekend, with the walking dead enjoying many drinks specials at over 40 participating bars, incorporating all sorts of fun activities. A commemorative cup and map can be purchased for $5 at various locations throughout Reno, including Junkee Clothing Exchange, Doll House, Chocolate Walrus, and Melting Pot World Emporium.

A special tribute to the ‘King of Pop’ will take place. Roller Kingdom is presenting a ‘Thriller’ dance party, with practice sessions currently underway. One of them is tonight, October 23, beginning at 7:30 pm. On the night itself, Michael Jackson fans can see the dance will take place under the famous Reno Arch.

A best zombie costume contest will also take place the night of the Zombie Crawl. Many local retailers are offering deals on zombie costumes, as well as lessons on how to build your own.

Many similar Halloween events are taking place and this is where printing companies come in to service. Poster printing is a frequent print project for these types of events. Posters are hung throughout a city to draw attention to the event. The posters usually contain the title, location, date and time, and specifics about the event. Banner printing might also be used to brief people on the event as they walk or drive by.

The annual Zombie Crawl takes place this Saturday, October 27, and is an adult event, since alcohol is being served. For more information, visit the event website or call 775-342-9565.
