Coral Reef Adventure at the Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center

On Friday, April 13, 2012, the Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center will feature “Coral Reef Adventure” at 1650 N. Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada. This film event is scheduled from 1pm to 3pm, and will be shown again later from 7pm to 9pm.
This Coral Reef Adventure film will be shown in this season’s large format film at the Skydome 8/70. The presentation features a real expedition by two very talented and experienced underwater film experts ocean explorers. These experts, Howard and Michele Hall, have spent years underwater filming great expeditions, and in this film they will guide viewers through the waters and the tropical islands in the South Pacific Ocean.
Throughout this incredible documentary, the viewer will feel like they are taking part in the adventure thanks to the expert filmmaking. This film has been narrated by, none other than, Liam Neeson and has an incredible musical score by Crosby, Stills, and Nash. During the film, the viewer will explore stunning seascapes along the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, Fiji’s coral reefs, and Rangiroa’s shark-filled canyon. Viewers will feel like they are swimming alongside the ocean’s great creatures and come to understand the fragile nature of our ocean’s worldwide.
