18th Annual Reno Brew HaHa invites folk to join the fun

There are many ways of fundraising for the arts, but not many are as fun as the Sierra Arts Reno Brew HaHa coming up later this month, hosted by John Ascuaga’s Nugget.

Featuring approximately 35 breweries, coupled with Diego’s Umbrella in person presenting live music, the event is sure to be in party mode. All Things Beer DJ Dondero will keep things hopping.

The VIP reception will offer the opportunity for attendees to speak with those expert brewers and chefs creating the drafts. Beverage sampling will be available from notable breweries, including Pyramid, Newcastle, Silver Peak, Buckbean, Heineken, Big Sky, and Sam Adams.

The fundraising event generates donations for the Sierra Arts Foundation. Funding from the foundation supports local art programs and artists. Recipients include Elder Care Concert Series, the Arts Integration Project, and residencies for Arts in Education.

Organizing and presenting an event of this magnitude requires a great deal of advance planning. Marketing and merchandising the event is critical for its success. Printing companies are often involved in producing supplies such as catalogs for distribution prior to the event, as well as at the door. Catalog printing is a frequent project as catalogs are usually part of a fundraiser. The catalog includes information about the charity involved, the participating merchants, sponsors, and other pertinent details.

The event will take place on January 25 in the Rose Ballroom, with doors opening for VIPs at 7:00 pm and general admission beginning at 8:00 pm. The host entity, John Ascuaga’s Nugget, has complete information and ticket sales on the website.
